It’s a real pleasure (and relief!) to be in a position to write our first Blog.
It’s early April, the trees are changing colours amazingly every day, and the days are noticeably cooler. Autumn is a great season.
And for Univentures too, it’s a time of change. We ran our initial “pilot” programme at the end of 2023 – with a hugely positive independent evaluation. We have planned our next Univentures/UCOnlne programme for a start date of 22 April – and this is fast approaching.
What a wonderful, challenging and rewarding journey it has been to develop the ‘Starting a Business Over 50’ online programme – New Zealand first and only dedicated online course specifically tailored to the needs of those over 50-starting a new business venture for the first time. It has been great to rejoin the UC community to complete the development of this major project.
Plenty of new challenges ahead for us, including marketing of our new online programme. Digital Marketing is one of the keys areas identified in our research into the needs of the over 50s and the title of one of 4 Modules!
